Investor, Meet ‘Learn’

August 23, 2016

2 min read

We believe in starting small and growing your Stash over time.

We also believe in starting without knowing all of the answers. You don’t need to become an expert to invest — all it takes is a willingness to start.

Introducing, Learn.

Educational content, customized especially for you. Your Learn screen experience will grow with you, as you continue on your Stash journey and increase your investing confidence. It’s all right there at your fingertips in the Stash app. After you update to the new app version, you can find Learn as a tab under the My Stash screen.

Learn offers educational content designed specifically for the Stash community. The content will cover a variety of topics: ‘how-to’ guides, important market events, relevant global economic trends, investment profiles, and more. As we add new Stash investments, you’ll have access to their investment profiles so you can better understand your investment options.

Here’s how we suggest using Learn:

Walk the Walk. Feed yourself a regular diet of long term investing strategy — diversification, dollar cost averaging, and buy and hold. It will come in handy during periods of volatility like Brexit, and you’ll be able to take a deep breath and remind yourself to keep calm when everyone else is panicking.

New and relevant featured content. Stay up to date with weekly articles to learn about investments and pick up investing advice. Then put that new knowledge into practice in your own Stash.

Talk money to me. Read up on our $$ series and drop knowledge at the holiday dinner table. You’ll be leading the conversation around national debt or how your investments connect to the latest trends. Enjoy the boost of confidence that comes with being in the know.

Learn all of your options. The short in-app investment descriptions are a great place to start. Now it’s time to dig deeper. Learn more about the investments you own, and those you might want to add.

We will continue to create new and relevant content to help you increase your investing confidence and financial literacy. Additionally, we want to actively connect with our growing community.

We want to hear from you. If there is a specific topic you want to learn more about or if you have feedback on the new feature, please email us your request at [email protected] We will do our best to incorporate content covering those issues while continuously rolling out improvements to Learn.
